I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - I'll Have What She's Having

We were given complimentary tickets to the New York Historical Society for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: I'll Have What She's Doing

Where: New York Historical Society
             170 Central Park W.
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: Through April 2, 2023

I'll Have What She's Having at the New York Historical Society is a fun food adventure. This exhibit takes you through the history of the Jewish Deli. Learn about some of the most famous restaurants in New York history and the people behind them. See replicas of some deli favorites that are sure to make your mouth water.  View some of the tools of the trade. That is just a small sample of what you will see at this fascinating exhibit.

The exhibit is about so much more than just food, however. It's about immigrants coming to America and making a fresh start. It's about keeping old traditions alive while at the same time making new ones. It's about the intersection of food and history. This exhibit will entertain you, it will inform you, and it will probably make you hungryy!

And that's our view. For more about I'll Have What's She's Having, go to www.nyhistory.org/exhibitions/ill-have-what-shes-having-the-jewish-deli. For more about the New York Historical Society in general or to purchase timed tickets to visit go to www.nyhistory.org.

Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
