Still I Rise The Persistence of Phenomenal Women by Marlene Wagman-Geller is a book full of women for whom we should all be grateful. This book is completely devoted to the stories of women who overcame difficult odds to make this world a better place. Although some of these women are more famous than others, they are all equally admirable and inspirational. Supreme Court Justice, Sonia Sotomayor; Holocaust survivor and Noble Prize recipient, Nellie Sachs; and civil rights activist, Betty Shabazz are just a few of the women whose stories are included here.
