I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Mom - Today I am recommending Bug Busters by Bernice Lifton. This is an extremely useful book that every household should get! It teaches you how to get rid of every kind of bug and other pest you can think of without using pesticides. It is very comprehensive. It not only tells you how to get rid of these pests, it also goes over what attracts each different kind of pest, how they get into your house (or garden or whatever), and how you can keep them from getting in. If you want to have as pest free a life as possible without risking poisoning your own family to achieve it, this is the book you need!
