I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me - Little Women was a good show. The timing felt a little bit off because they had so much to cram in a little bit of time. However, all the important things that happened in the book happened in the musical. There wasn't  anything that should have been in the story that wasn't. The songs were alright. The acting was pretty good. Personally, I don't have a huge connection to the story, but if you're a big fan of the book, I'm sure you'll enjoy this.

Mom - Little Women the musical  is based on the famous book of the same name by Louisa May Alcott. The show had a short run on Broadway in 2005. The musical is full of everything you love about the book. Anyone, who is not familiar with the book might find it a little hard to follow since so much story is jampacked into a two and a half hour musical. The songs are nice, but not especially memorable. It is interesting the way Jo's stories are actually brought to life in the show. Other actors portray her characters and act out her dialogue through songs. However, at the same time this takes time away from the main plot a little and adds just one more thing to an already overcrowded story. Gallery Players does a nice job with the show. Lily Lane Stafford makes a fiesty Jo. Josephine Spada makes a sweet Beth. The cast in general has good chemistry. All in all, it's an enjoyable production.
