I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me - The Magical World of  Musical Improv was a fun show!  They showed clips from movies and they stopped the clips in the middle and made up a song to finish the scene. The films used included Frozen, Home Alone, and Miracle on the 34th Street. I really liked the songs they made up although some were better than others. The songs were fun.. My favorite was the one from Home Alone. It sounded like it could really be a real song from a movie. The whole show was really funny! It was unlike anything I have ever seen before, and I liked that about it.  Even though, I hadn't seen most of the movies they used in the show, I still really enjoyed it!

Mom - Did you ever wish you could make up your own songs to classic movies? If you want to see a show where they do just that, go and see The Magical World of Musical of Improv. The players in this delightful and witty show take a scene from a classic movie and put their own spin on it complete with a new song that they make up on the spot. Sometimes, the made up scene and/or song is more of hit; sometimes its more of a miss. However, it is all great fun. This is really not a good show for very young children who probably wouldn't understand what is happening and wouldn't like it when a scene from one of their favorite movies is turned off. Also, not all the movies used in the show would even be familiar to the youngest children. However, this would be a great show for older children who would probably  really enjoy it. If you love classic movies and you want to see them in completely new and original ways, you will love this show.

And that's our view. Tune in Sunday for this week's Sunday Scoop.
