I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Mom - My Life on a Diet is a one woman show starring Renee Taylor in which the actress reflects back on her life and career and all the crazy diets she tried along the way. Even though this is a one woman show and Ms. Taylor spends the entire time sitting at a desk, the subject matter is interesting enough to keep the show from being boring. Ms. Taylor has known quite a lot of famous people in her life, and she is not afraid to drop names. Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and Jack Paar are just a few of the people who have been a part of her life and thus, are a part of her story. Watching the show is almost like listening to an audiobook, and in fact, Ms. Taylor is actually reading throughout the show. She is in her 80s, and it is understandable that she would need the help of a visual aid in front of her to help her keep her place in the show and even with that she did seem to lose her place a couple of times, but  she recovered quickly. Ms. Taylor reads in a conversational tone so it does not feel like she is reading which keeps the show from becoming tedious. Pictures and videos projected on a screen behind her, keep the show from being completely auditory. On the whole, this is a show that anyone who enjoys reading celebrity memoirs and loves knowing everything about celebrities' lives would definitely like.
