I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Broadway Trivia & Games: Hello My Name Is ... Party Game

We may have been given a complimentary copy of one or more of the books or other products mentioned below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books - Broadway Trivia

Mom - Today I am recommending Broadway Trivia. This fun book by the makers of the Be A Broadway Star board game is great for any theater fan. The book is very up to date and has a good mix of questions related to older shows and more current shows. There are nine (9) quick chapters each covering a different category including Tony Winners, Flops, and Name That Tune among other things. Each chapter has ten easy, ten medium and ten hard questions making it enjoyable for everyone no matter their level of theater knowledge. It is fun to go through by yourself or with others. It is great to read at home, but it is also light and easily portable enough to take with you to go through when you are away from home. It is fairly short and quick to read which is both a good thing and a bad thing because it won't take too long to go through the whole thing, but when it is over you will wish there was more.

Game: Hello My Name Is ... Party Game

Mom - Today I am recommending Hello My Name Is....Party Game. This is a fun game where the object is to name people who fit in one or more categories.  It is really quick to learn and really easy to play. It can be played by as few as three players or as many as twelve. It is equally great for a party game or an evening at home with the family. It is not a game for very young children not because there is anything unsuitable about it just that it would be harder for them. However, it is great for tweens and up. It is a really enjoyable game.

And that's Mom's view. Where-To-Go Wednesday will be closed tomorrow. Tune in Thursday for Theater Thursday.
