Me - Einstein's Dreams was a unique show. It was about Albert Einstein trying to develop his theory of relativity. The singing and acting were good. It was kind of hard to follow at times, and it was also somewhat slow, but if your interested in Albert Einstein or the science behind time you might enjoy it.
Mom- Einstein's Dream is a musical based on a the book of the same name by Alan Lightman. It is the story of how Albert Einstein comes up with his theory of relativity through his dreams. This musical is like two musicals in one. When Einstein is awake it is a simple straightforward musical that moves along in time in a linear fashion. However, when he is asleep the story is anything but linear, and you never know where it is going to take you. It is like being inside the mind of a genius and can be a bit confusing and hard to follow at times. The acting is good. There are some fun songs particularly The Relativity Rag and Now Backwards Moving is Time, a song sung backwards. Mostly, the music is not especially memorable. The show, however is memorable is in that it is competely unique and original and unlike anything that has come before it.
