I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of Fathers, Sons, and the Holy Ghosts of Baseball in the Fun n' Sun Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Fun N' Sun Giveaway Hop!

With Summer finally in full force it’s time to get out of the house and enjoy the warm weather! We at Anderson's Angels, This Mamas Life, Woven by Words and The More The Merrier wanted to help our readers get into the Sun n’ Fun of summer! We've teamed up with some wonderful bloggers, to bring you another great giveaway event! Each blog has gathered a prize package worth $15 or more so be sure to visit each blog and enter!

Life seems to slow down a little bit in the summer, and it's a great time to relax and read so we here at Says Me Says Mom are giving  away a nice summery book. Fathers, Sons, and the Holy Ghosts of baseball is a book about a small town and the high school baseball team that is such an integral part of the town. Although they have never won a championship the team is determined to give it one last shot before the trio of elderly coaches are forced to retire and the senior members of the team graduate, and things are irrevocably changed. This is more than a book about baseball, however. It is about life in a small town. It is about young men on the brink of adulthood. It's about hanging on to the last shred of childhood as long as you can. It is about growing up and changing and moving on. Even if you don't like baseball at all, you may still enjoy this touching book.  For more about this book, see our previous post, Tips for Tuesday - Books: Fathers, Sons, and the Holy Ghosts of Baseball. 5. I like the warmer weather! Winter in Maine is so long that I cherish the months where the weather is warmer, flowers are blooming and you can BBQ without freezing your butt off lol.

    1. I agree. It's nice not having to get up early, get ready and make sure everyone gets out the door on time every day. Thanks for visiting Says Me Says Mom and for your comment.
