I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - Games Changers

We were given free tickets to Game Changers for review purposes. Any and all opinion expressed here are our own.

What: Game Changers

Where: TADA! Youth Theater
             15 W. 28th St.
             New York, NY

Who: All ages

When: Through August 1, 2019

Me- Game Changers was a good show. It was about a group of kids competing on a game show. I liked the idea for the show because I love game shows. The game that they were competing on was not like any of the game shows I watch, however. For reasons that I can't reveal, I didn't like the game show that they were competing on but Game Changers was still a good show. The acting was good. The singing was good. The songs were fine, but they weren't particularly memorable. Also, it seemed like there were less of them than usual. Over all, Game Changers is a fun  and entertaining show.

Mom - While TADA! Youth Theater has a reperatory of shows that they alternate in different years, their latest production is brand-new. The show revolves around kids competing on a television game show. As with all TADA! shows throughout the course of the show, the kids learn a lesson. In this case, the lesson is the need to work together to accomplish their goals. However, since the lesson is taught through a fun-filled musical, it doesn't feel heavyhanded. The acting is good. The songs are cute. Game Changers is an entertaining show for the whole family.

And that's our view. Tune in Saturday for a Saturday Special.
