I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Howard Schoor Art's Popup Gallery

What: Howard Schoor Art's Popup Gallery

Where: Bell Works
            101 Crawfords Corner Rd.
            Holmdel, New Jersey

Who: All ages

Mom's view: Bell Works is the reconfiguration of the former site of the historic Bell Labs into a site that combines shops. work areas, play areas, and more into a new kind of public space. Howard Schoor is an artist who brings his particular perspective as a former engineer into his own style of art known as Trianglism. Schoor is now working with Bell Works for a unique "artnership" in which his art is being displayed and sold in a popup gallery at the Bell Works location. The artworks are full of bright beautiful color and distinct shapes dominated by triangles making the gallery a sunny happy place that can be enjoyed by all ages. Whether you are interested in buying some of Schoor's art which also comes in such forms as puzzles and coloring books in addition to paintings or your day just needs a little brightening, it is definitely worth a visit.
