I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: A Pebble for Your Thoughts

We have been given  a copy of A Pebble for Your Thoughts for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: A Pebble For Your Thoughts

Mom - Today I am recommending A Pebble for Your Thoughts by Megan Murphy. In or about 2015, Megan Murphy found a rock on the beach and decided to leave an encouraging message on it. A friend found it and thanked her. From that act a movement was born to leave rocks painted with kind words scattered around in different places for people to find when they most needed them. Since then, many people have joined the movement and many rocks have been painted, left and found. Many of those rocks have been captured in the pages of this charming book. The book is both aesthically pleasing, the rocks are beautifully painted and emotionally satisfying, the kind words printed on the rocks will fill you with inspiration and hope. It is nice to see people trying to spread kindness for a change instead of the hatred we see so much of today. The book even provides instructions for making your own kindness rock. For more about the Kindness Rocks Project, go to www.thekindnessrocksproject.com.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Tips for Tuesday.
