I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Postcards from Times Square & Game: Mastermind

We may have been given one or more of the books and/or products listed below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Postcards from Times Square

Mom - Today I am recommending. Postcards from Times Square by George J. Lankevich. This is a book that tells the history of the iconic location through the use of vintage postcards. It is a unique and fun way to take a glimpse into the past. Be aware, however, that the book has quite a lot of words considering it is told mostly through postcards so anyone who is looking for a book that is mostly pictures may be disappointed. Also, the writing is quite small so anyone who has trouble reading small print may have trouble reading it. The book really is quite interesting and informative though so most people who can read it would probably enjoy it especially if they are interested in history especially the history of famous locations.

Game: Mastermind

Me - Today I am recommending Mastermind. In this game, you try to guess the pattern that the other person made using colored pegs. It's a lot easier than it seems. It's fun and easy to learn. It's not too hard, but not too easy either. It is a great game for taking with you because it is small and light and has a build in drawer to hold all the pieces. This is a game that my Mom played when she was my age but it is still fun today.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-GoWednesday.
