I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday: Books: Playing Back the 80s

We were given a free copy of the book mentioned below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Mom -  Today I am recommending the book, Playing Back the 80's by Jim Beviglia. This book recounts many of the big hits of the 1980s. Beviglia interviews many of the songwriters and the people who were there when the songs were created, and they share how these great songs came about. If you grew up in the 80s reading this book is like a musical nostalgia trip. Even if you didn't grow up in the 80s but you love the music of the 80s or music in general, you will probably enjoy this book. It is also a great read for anyone interested in the history of music and/or the process of songwriting and how great songwriters come up with their ideas.  All in all, it's just a genuinely interesting and  fun book  to read.

And that's Mom's view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
