I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Funtivity Friday - Visit BroadwayCon Which Opens Today or Another Fun Fan Convention!

If you are a really big fan of something, then its fun to attend a convention regarding it. At a fan convention you can

1) Meet other fans like you
2) Attend panels regarding the subject
3) Purchase related memorabilia
4) Maybe even meet some of the people involved like actors, writers, producers etc.
and more!

These days there seems to be a fan convention for just about everything. Here are just a few of them

Con of Thrones - This convention is about all things Game of Thrones. Con of Thrones will take place from May 25-27 in Dallas, TX.

AlienCon - This is a convention for those who seek to explain the unexplained. AlienCon will take place from June 15-17 in Pasadena, CA.

ComicCon - This multigenre comic and entertainment  convention is, of course, probably the most well known of the fan conventions. The next ComicCon will take place from July 18-22 in San Diego, CA.

LeakyCon - This a convention for Harry Potter fans. It will take place from August 10-12 in Dallas, Tx.

and our personal favorite
