I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Me - West Side Story is not one of my favorite shows. I don't like death, and I don't like romance. However, Kelsey Theater's production of the show was not bad. The acting wasn't bad. The singing was good. There are a  lot of good songs in the show.   They sang a lot of the songs from the show in Glee. That is how I learned them.  The songs are the best part of the show. I liked the costumes in this show. The dancing was nice.  Over all, it was a good production, but I still don't like the show.
Mom - West Side Story is a bittersweet love story with beautiful songs. The current production of the show at Kelsey Theater does a good job of telling the story. The singing voices are beautiful especially that of the two leads, Mason Kugelman as Tony and Tara Keelen as Maria. The dancing is energetic. Although there are some aspects of the story that don't necessarily make sense in a modern world, (is it really possibly to fall completely in love that quickly?), a lot of it is very relevant in today's world where people are often so cruelly divided. Besides, it is always worth the chance to hear such beautiful songs as "Tonight" and "Maria" and the other wonderful songs that are part of the show's soundtrack.
