I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday: Movies - Forever My Girl

We were given access to a free screening of Forever My Girl for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.
Me - Today I am recommending Forever My Girl. This movie is about a guy and girl who are engaged, and he leaves her at the altar because he got a record deal.  8 years later he comes back. I really liked this movie. At first, I didn't know if I was going to like it. Then, when I watched the coming attractions, I thought I would like it. When I did watch it, I liked it even more than I thought I would. The story was enchanting.  The characters were great. They were really likeable. There were no bad characters in the movie. My favorite character was Billy, a young girl. She had a lot of personality. Everything about this movie was enjoyable. Everyone would  like it  especially people who like sweet happy movies.

Mom - Today I am also recommending Forever My Girl. Liam leaves his fiancee, Josie  at the alter to run off and become a country music star. Eight years later, he returns for a funeral and finds himself irresistably drawn to his hometown. This is a sweet romantic story full of delightful characters. There is the charming and talented Liam, the fiesty kindhearted Josie and the precocious young Billy to name just a few. The story is engaging and movies along quickly. Even the soundtrack is great. It is a mix of songs sung by Alex Roe who stars as Liam in the movie, songs  by well known country singers and/or groups like Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town, and a few songs by lesser known artists like Brett Boyett. The songs fit the mood of the film perfectly. The final number is especially touching. If you  like a good romance, you will love this one. It will definitely make you smile and if you're a big crier maybe it will even make you shed a happy tear or two as well.
