I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win Two Self-Help Books For Teens in the Happy Holidays Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Happy Holidays Giveaway Hop hosted by Karen’s Got MailCapturing the Moment! I have teamed up with a fantastic group of bloggers to share some awesome giveaways with our readers. Be sure to hop around to the participating blogs listed below and enter some fabulous giveaways, all of which are worth a minimum of $25!

The holidays can be an anxious time for some. For teenagers, any time can be an anxious time. In their minds, there is so much to worry about whether it is something they should really be worrying about or not. There is the pressure to get good grades and do well in school.. There is a peer pressure. These are just a couple of anxieties teenagers face. Here at Says Me Says Mom, we are giving away two books to help ease the pressures of being a teen.

The first is 101 Ways to Conquer Teen Anxiety by Dr. Thomas McDonald and Jon Patrick Hatcher. This book gives teenagers a way to cope with and lessen their anxiety. One of the nice things about this book is that it is written not only by a doctor but also by a regular person who was an anxious teenager himself and remembers what it was like so he can relate to what anxious teens are feeling. For more about this book go to Tips for Tuesday: It's Not Just Angst: 101 Ways to Conquer Teen Anxiety.

The second book is Total Package girl: Discover the Ultimate You For Life  by Kristi K. Hoffman. This book, specifically for girls, aims to teach girls to be the best person they can be. It covers both the inner person, such as, believing in one's self and the outer person, such as, clothing and make-up. It also promotes good health through encouraging things like a healthy diet. For more about this book go to Tips for Tuesday: Total Package Girl.

To win both of these books, enter below. We will be giving away two sets of both books.
