I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Sandy The Autobiography of a Star and Remembrance of Blue Roses

We may have been given one or more of the books mentioned below for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience reading the books. This post may also contain affiliate links, if you click on a link and make a purchase, we may be compensated.
Me - Today I am recommending Sandy The Autobiography of a Star by William Berloni and Allison Thomas. This book is about Sandy, the dog who played Sandy in the original Broadway show, Annie. His name was actually Sandy in real-life too. Bill Berloni, his trainer, rescued him from a shelter. The book was really good. I really enjoyed it because I love animals. I love Broadway. I also love Annie. I am also very interested in Bill Berloni, Sandy's trainer because when I grow up I want to be an animal trainer too. If you like any of these things, you would enjoy this book too.
Mom - Today I am recommending Remembrance of Blue Roses by Yorker Keith. Remembrance of Blue Roses is the story of bachelor, Mark and married couple, Hans and Yukari. Hans and Mark meet when they both go to work for the United Nations. When Hans introduces Mark to his wife, Yukari all three of their lives become irrevocably changed as their three lives are completely entwined. This is a very engaging book that will keep you enthralled from the first page to the last . It is a true love story not only involving  the love between a man and a wife but the love between friends as well. I appreciate that the story is not predictable.  At the beginning, it seemed like it was going to be a typical story where two people are so drawn to each that they have to be together no matter who they hurt in the process. However, it is not that way at all. There are neither heroes not villains in this story. Instead, it is just a really beautiful story about the bonds between three people who truly care about each other. This bittersweet story will really touch your heart, and it will still with you long after you have finished reading it.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
