I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday Misc.- #JazzLovesDisney

This is sponsored post from Disney Music and One2One Network. All opinions expressed here are our own.

Me - Today I am recommending Jazz Loves Disney. It is a good CD.  I like that is like classic Disney songs with a twist. A few of the songs were in French which I didn't like because I don't know French. However, I like most  of it. I especially liked the more upbeat songs. It made me want to sing the Jungle book from hearing the songs. I have never seen the movie but the two songs from Jungle Book "I Want to Be Like You" and "The Bare Necessities, I really enjoyed. I also really liked "Let It Go". It made an over used song that has gotten boring seem like a new and fun song. The whole CD is really good, and I would really recommend getting it.

Mom - Today I am also recommending Jazz Loves Disney. Since I was a kid I have loved Disney I remember going to  the Disney film festival every Saturday when I was little. My kids have always loved Disney as well. Some of their earliest movies were also Disney movies. Music is such an important part of Disney movies. Another way my family and I have enjoyed and shared Disney and Disney music is through live stage musicals. Both my stepson and my older daughter's first Broadway show was Beauty and the Beast. It would have been my younger daughter's first Broadway show too if it hadn't closed before she was old enough to see it. Her first Disney musical was Aladdin. That was special too because it was the first time my husband and our daughters and I had all gone to a Disney musical together. After we saw the show, we got the soundtrack and when we listen to it, it reminds us of that special day. Disney music is good at bringing back good memories like that.

The new Jazz Loves Disney album carries on the tradition of great Disney music. Disney is great at presenting their music in new and exciting ways, and this album definitely does that. It takes some old familiar songs and gives them a jazzy beat. Like my daughter, I especially like "I  Want to Be Like You" and "The Bare Necessities." I also really like "Everybody Wants to Be A Cat." All of these songs are really upbeat and fun. I also really like "Let It Go" which puts an entirely new spin on a song that a lot of people have gotten tired of hearing all the time and makes it brand-new and exciting again.  Over all, it is just a really unique and fun CD that lets you enjoy Disney songs in a whole new way.
