Billy Porter Returns to His Tony Winning Role in Kinky Boots

After a three (3) month hiatus, Billy Porter has returned to the role of Lola in KInky Boots. Kyle Taylor Parker who played the role in Porter's absence will return to playing Lola in the First National Touring production.Porter originated the role when the show opened in April of 2014. He won a 2014 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. Parker made his debut his Broadway debut as an angel in the original production.

The Target Margin Theater will end it's 2015 season and its exploration of the works of Getrude Stein with Composition…Master-Pieces… Identity, a new solo performance piece from Obie Award-winner David Greenspan, and The TMT Stein Spring Lab: When This You See Remember Me. Both shows are world premieres and will run in tandem.
Composition…Master-Pieces… Identity will bring to life two “lectures” and a “play” by Stein, exploring ideas of celebrity, authenticity, outlaws, classics, self-consciousness, and writing for an audience. Greenspan’s “lively trickster mind” is the icing and the cake of our Stein season.
