I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books : The Rescue and Wreckage

Me - Today I am recommending The Rescue by Nicholas Sparks. It was a really really romantic book. It is the story of Taylor and Denise. After they meet when Taylor rescues Denise and her son from a car accident, they are drawn to each other despite the odds and their complicated pasts. This book was a little hard to get into at first. However, if you stick with it, it is a really great love story.
Mom - Today I am recommending Wreckage by Emily Bleeker.  Wreckage is the story of the aftermath of a plane crash. Dave Hall and Lillian Linden are two of three survivors of a small plane crash and find themselves drawn to each other.  Will what happened on the island stay on the island? Dave and Lillian aim to keep that way despite a media maelstrom upon their return to civilization and their respective spouses.  This sweet but sad love story is a real page turner. Once you pick it up, you won't want to put it down until you've read the whole thing.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
