I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Raritan Valley Community College Planeterium

We were not financially compensated for this post. We were given complimentary tickets to the Raritan Valley Community College Planetarium for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
Me - The Raritan Valley Community College Planterium, wow!
 What I liked:
1) It was fun.
2) I liked the laser show.
3)I liked the music they played during the laser show.
4) I liked all the colors and lights.
5) The scavenger hunt was fun.

What I didn't like:
1) I didn't really like the story we heard. History doesn't interest me. I get enough of it in school.
2) It hurt my neck a little bit looking up.
3) Somethings I couldn't see even when I looked up. It hurt my head a little bit to look that far up and over.
4) Some of the patterns made me dizzy too.

Overall, it was a fun place to go.

Mom -
 What I liked:
1)  It was a good way for my kids to learn about the elements of the sky in a fun way.
2) There were two different scavenger hunts one for older kids and one for younger kids instead of having just one that would be too hard for some and too easy for others.
3) The lights and colors of the laser show were great.
4) The music of the laser show was great. It was a great mix of older stuff and more current music.

What I didn't like:
1) It is a little hard to look up for so long.
2) The spinning lights of the laser show made me a little dizzy at times. However, I have a tendency to get motion sickness and for people who don't this shouldn't be a problem.

Overall, it was great fun for the whole family.
