I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday: In Corpo

We were given complimentary tickets to In Corpo for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: In Corpo

Where: Theater Row
             410 W. 42nd St.
             New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 13 and Up

When: Through July 8, 2023

In Corpo is a dystopian musical.  From the moment you arrive in the theater and see the futuristic set, you know you are in a different world than the one we know.  In this world, we are told that the outside world is nothing but endless snow and cold. Yet a group of workers think they are happy stuck inside their big corporation working and living inside their little pods until an outsider gets in and makes them realize that they are not.  The whole idea of a dystopian world may be triggering for some people after the reality of the last few years, however, the show is interesting. The ending is not quite satisfying, however, it leaves you wanting to know more, but perhaps the whole idea is to leave you with questions.

And that's our view. For more about In Corpo or to purchase tickets, visit www.assemblytheater.org/in-corpo
