I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

More Theater Monday - Ain't No Mo

We were given complimentary tickets to Ain't No Mo for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Ain't No Mo

Where: Belasco Theater
            111 W. 44th St.
           New York, NY

Who: Recommended for Ages 15 and Up

When: Through February 26,2023

The basic premise of Ain't No Mo is that the US Government has offered all African Americans a one-way ticket to Africa. While the show is full of comedy, it also has a lot of truths to tell about the way African Americans are treated in this country and have been throughout history. The show does not proceed in a linear fashion but through a series of scenes, sketches, and more with the talented cast taking on a variety of different characters throughout the show. This is not a show where they expect you to come and sit and watch quietly, but rather to react and be a part of things. This is not something that some of us are used to and/or comfortable with. However, you shouldn't let that stop you from seeing this thoughtful well-acted show.

And that's our view. For more about Ain't No Mo or to purchase tickets, visit
