I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Kelsey Theatre at Mercer is back! For the third production of their return to live theater, they are presenting the play, Scenery. This two-character show is about a couple of veterans actors. The pair have been married and working together for years and are making their stage comeback. The action takes place in their dressing room before, during, and after their show. It is not an appropriate show for young children due to some language, adult themes, and adult humor.  It is a fairly amusing show. A bit about the annoying things that audience members do is particularly funny.  The show was written by Ed Dixon, who is himself a veteran actor, and his insider's view of his material clearly shows although the play does drag a bit at times though.  In a season mostly full of old chestnuts, this show is notable for being something different that doesn't get done all the time, and that is commendable.

And that's our view.

Tune in Saturday for a Saturday Special - Summer News & Sign-Ups.
