I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Baye & Asa first came to 92Y’s attention as finalists at the inaugural Future Dance Festival in 2021 with their work John 4:20, selected by Martha Graham Dance Company artistic director Janet Eilber. They were subsequently named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” for 2022, which noted that “using African forms and hip hop in an expansive view of ‘contemporary’ dance theater, the pair’s choreography avoids falling into any predictable pattern.”

Passion Fruit Dance Company – Tatiana Desardouin, Lauriane Ogay and Mai Lê Hô – sees its mission as promoting the authenticity of street dance and clubbing styles, hip-hop and house cultures and their Black heritage, and exploring different social problems through their dance pieces and artistic practices. Desardouin, the company’s founder, artistic director and choreographer, was selected as one of Dance Magazine’s 2020 “25 to Watch” and was awarded the 2022 Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Dance.

AT BROADWAY’S LONGACRE THEATRE

STRICTLY LIMITED ENGAGEMENT – 15 WEEKS ONLY

The initiative will also be partnering with TDF to offer further accessibility to people with hearing and vision loss.

In addition to providing fully subsidized tickets, the program will also provide additional engagement opportunities and interactive content to complement their experience at the theatre. Select resources will also be made available to students beyond those in attendance through the program.

A tale of malice, matrimony and murder, MACBETH tells the story of one couple’s obsession with power—and their guilt after doing the unthinkable. For 15 weeks only, this thrilling new production will capture the passion and ferocity of Shakespeare’s most haunting text like never before.

13) MISS LILLIAN: MORE THAN A

 PRESIDENT’S MOTHER

RELEASES EXCLUSIVE CLIP

DOCUMENTARY FILM STARRING PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER, FIRST LADY

ROSALYNN CARTER, LOS ANGELES DODGER LEGEND TOMMY LASORDA,

LONGTIME ABC WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT SAM DONALDSON AND

MORE IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

Random Media has released an exclusive clip from the documentary film Miss Lillian: More Than a President’s Mother in celebration of Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 21.

Miss Lillian: More Than A President’s Mother, tells the inspiring story of Lillian Carter, matriarch of Plains, Georgia's storied Carter family and mother to Jimmy Carter, the oldest living United States President. The film centers around rare interviews with historical figures of the Carter era, including former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, Los Angeles Dodger legend Tommy Lasorda, longtime ABC White House correspondent Sam Donaldson - and of course her son Jimmy, who at 97, no longer sits for interviews.

In candid moments, President Carter reflects on his remarkable mother, who passed her deeply held humanitarian values on to her children, the eldest of whom would become the 39th President of the United States. The film offers a revealing and intimate study of a pioneering American woman, exploring how her life as a nurse in the rural south shaped her views on race, ultimately impacting a nation through her influence on Jimmy - first as the Governor of Georgia and later as the President during the tumultuous 1970s.

Miss Lillian: More Than A President’s Mother is currently available on iTunes, Prime Video, Google Play, Apple TV, Microsoft, and Vudu.
