I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Books: Full Flight & Movies: Until We Meet Again

We may have been given complimentary copies of any books or other products mentioned below as well as access to any audio or visual media for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Books: Full Flight

Today we are recommending Full Flight by Ashley Schumacher. When alleged bad boy, Weston Ryan, returns to her school after a year away, Anna James is assigned a partner duet with him in the school band. She discovers he is not at all like people think and finds herself falling for him despite the disapproval of her parents and others, but she may not be able to change their minds before it's too late. This is a bittersweet story of first love. Anna and Weston are such a sweet couple. Your heart will break for them. The story also teaches an important lesson about not listening to rumors and hearsay and only forming an opinion about someone when you get to know them yourself.

This book is now available for preorder. It will be released on February 22.

Movies: Until We Meet Again

Today we are recommending Until We Meet Again. After her boyfriend cheats on her Lisa moves into a big old house which is already inhabited by the ghost of its former occupant who is unable to move on without finishing his piano concerto.  At first, the way this film is shot makes it seem like it is going to be a horror story but it is not that way at all. It is actually another bittersweet love story. Although some parts of the story don't seem to make sense, it is mostly a touching story and you even get the added bonus of hearing Janel Parish sing.  We are not sure if she has ever sung in any of her previous projects but she has a sweet voice.  All in all, this is an engaging film that, unlike many movies these days, goes by all too quickly rather than dragging on too long. It runs about an hour and a half but feels even shorter.

Until We Meet Again is available today on all digital platforms.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
