I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood is a musical walk through the film career of the renowned composer. Of course, it does not cover all of his songs not even all of his movie songs. It would be impossible to completely cover his vast catalog even if the shows 80-minute running time were many times longer. However, the show does give a nice overview of his career.

The show is a musical review. There is no storyline. However, there is plenty of lovely singing and charming dancing performed by the talented six-member cast. If you are only familiar with Berlin's more popular songs and you are waiting to hear one of your favorite songs, you may be disappointed. Many of the songs in the show are not necessarily the most popular songs. The two most popular songs in the show are probably Cheek to Cheek and Let's Face the Music and Dance. Still, if you want to learn about Irving Berlin's Hollywood career and enjoy some nice singing and dancing, you will want to attend this show.

And that's our view. Tune in Saturday for Still More Theater Saturday.
