As we wait for Broadway to fully reopen with many shows now scheduled to reopen as early as September, this is the sixth post in our series, Great Reasons to See... focusing on different shows returning to Broadway or coming to Broadway soon.
Here are some great reasons to see The Phantom of the Opera!
1) It's based on the classic romantic horror novel by Gaston Leroux.
2) It's got beautiful music by Andrew Lloyd Webber including Music of the Night, Think of Me, and The Phantom of the Opera.
3) It's a touching bittersweet love story.
4) It's got special effects like a falling chandelier.
5) You get to see what's under the phantom mask.
7) Even after all these years the quality of the show and caliber of its casts are still great.
8) It's the longest-running show on Broadway and has been running for over thirty years.
9) It's the only show to have reached over 10,000 performances, and you don't want to be one of the only people in the world who's never seen it.
And that's our view. The Phantom of the Opera returns to Broadway on October 22, 2021. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit us.thephantomoftheopera.com.
