I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of The Female Gaze in the Moms Rock Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Moms Rock Giveaway Hop hosted by MamatheFox

Mom's rock and being a mom is one of the most important jobs a woman can do but that doesn't mean it is the only job a woman can do. Even though traditionally men have dominated in most out of the home jobs and in many cases they still do, these days you can find women in almost any job. The Female Gaze is a book that exams the inroads women have made into the field of film directing through examination of the most essential films made by women. Kathryn Bigelow, Greta Gerwig and Ida Lupino are just a few of the director's discussed in this book. Films covered include Seven Beauties, Point Break and Bend It Like Beckham. For more about this book, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Books: The Female Gaze. Enter to win a copy of this intriguing book below.

Nothing really. I didn't do anything before the pandemic, so I doubt anything will change after it is completely over. I'm not allowed to do so anyway.
