Anyone who thinks they are too hip for Cinderella may enjoy this ultra-modern take on the tale featuring alumni of The Rosetta LeNoire Musical Theatre Academy. There are no fairy godmothers or pumpkins or glass slippers in sight, here but instead, you get robots and rap battles and a pair of fancy sneakers. In fact, just enough of the original Cinderella story remains to make the story recognizable, but there is nothing old fashioned about this version of the classic story  This contemporary Cinderella is not interested in snagging a prince. She has her sights set on a higher goal of making the world a better place.  The show features a handful of fresh new songs even a pretty hip hop ballad. At just over thirty minutes, this show moves along briskly and is sure to capture and keep the focus of even those with the shortest of attention spans. This family-friendly fun musical can be enjoyed by all ages.
