I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win an E-book of Words on Bathroom Walls by Julia Walton in the Back to School Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Back to School Giveaway Hop
hosted by Chatty Patty's Place and Review Wire Media

A great way to start the new school year is with a better understanding of what other people are going through. Through fictional stories, we can often learn about other people who are different than us. In the novel, Words on Bathroom Walls, through the main character of Adam, a teenager who suffers from mental illness,  we can learn about what it is like to have schizophrenia. Now, this story has been turned into a major motion picture which will be opening later this week. For more about the movie, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday - Movies: Words on Bathroom Walls or visit www.wordsonbathroomwallsmovie.com. Enter to win a digital copy of the book below.

  1. I think the Red Winter trilogy by Annette Marie would make a great movie. It has romance and Asian mythology.

  4. "The Selection" series by Kiera Cass. Beyond a doubt those books could make good movies of a caliber of the hunger games, twilight, and divergent. I truly hope that they select more books to make movies from instead of just coming up with random movies that dont make any sense.
