I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Theater Thursday - Timpson the Musical

What: Timpson the Musical

Where: Steaming on YouTube at www.youtube.com/watch?v=LfzOOWCi8Ag

Who: Teens and Up

This latest take on the Romeo & Juliet saga was the debut of the group Gigglemug Comedy, a troop established by a group of Warwick University students. The show was a big hit at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018  and in fact, won The Stage Edinburgh Award that year. It has now been released in its entirety on YouTube. In this version of the tale, the story revolves around two competing families of inventors the Montashoes and the Tipulets. The show is completely unique, original, and very amusing but also extremely raunchy so if that sort of thing offends you, you might want to stay away from it. The show is also refreshingly unpredictable with one particularly big twist at the end which may be a bit disconcerting or maybe even more than bit to most people. The songs are fun, but many of them are also on the racy side. If you are wondering where the title of the show comes from if you stick around eventually it will be revealed. All in all, if you are looking for something completely different and you are not afraid of a little ribaldry, you may enjoy this show.

And that's Mom's view.
