I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where: Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
             655 W. 34th St.
             New York, NY

Who: Tweens and up
(language and subject matter in BroadwayCon shows and events may not always be                               appropriate for all ages particularly language)

When: BroadwayCon general takes place in late January

Me & Mom - While there are not any shows with plots at BroadwayCon. There are a lot of  entertaining shows and theatrical events. There is an opening ceremony with performances from Broadway actors. There are performances from upcoming shows. There are entering contests like a lip sync show which anyone could apply to participate in. Their are game shows like BroadwayCon Feud. Both well known actors and people attending the convention could participate in BroadwayCon Feud. It is just like the TV show but all the questions are Broadway related. There are BroadwayCon jukeboxes where the audience gets to pick the songs the performers will sing. There are BroadwayCon Youtube parties where they show Broadway related videos on these two big screens and anyone who wants can go on stage and dance along. These shows all take place on the mainstage. However, there is also a smaller stage in the main part of the convention where people can perform as well. Over all, there are a lot of fun and exciting shows and theatrical events to watch or participate in at BroadwayCon.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday.
