Me - Today I am recommending Anna and The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. It is about a girl named Anna who goes to a school for Americans in Paris. She meets a French boy named Etienne St. Clair and falls in love with him. This is a very romantic book. I liked that the book takes place in Paris. I also like that the characters were friends first. That makes it even more romantic. You can actually see the process of them falling love. All these things make it a great book.

Mom - Today I am recommending The Lives We Lead by Alexandra Egi. This book written by a teenager herself tackles some of the issues facing teenage girls today including family problems, bulimia, and bullying. Although the book is a novel, it is a great starting point for a discussion of many of these issues. The book gives great insight into they way teenage girls think, and why they behave the ways they do even though their actions might sometimes be less than admirable. It also show that despite everything it is still possible to be a good friend and a good person and still remain true to yourself. This fast moving book draws you in quickly and makes you want to keep reading until you get to the end.
And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.
