I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show

We were given free passes to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
Me - The Interpid, wow! The Intrepid was very interesting. They had a bunch of planes. There was one that had a picture of a Tiger that I really liked. I also liked one that was painted a pretty light blue color. It sort of looked like there were clouds painted on it. I think it is really cool that planes can actually land on the deck of a ship in the water. The area were the planes land is really big but the rest of the ship is really tight and close. I could never live in a place like that because it would be too claustrophobic. We got to see the Space Shutte Enterprise. It was really really big. They had a whole pavilion with the space shuttle and things related to it. They also had stuffed space shuttles at the gift shop. There was another area at the Intrepid where you could do a lot interactive things. You could sit in a simulated shuttle. You could sit on a bunk. You could play giant checkers like they would play checkers to pass the time away. There were to other things to do too. The interactive area was my favorite part. The Intrepid was a very fascinating place, and I had a lot of fun there.

We were given tickets to The Very Hungry Caterpillar show for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own based on our experience.
Me - The Very Hungry Caterpillar show, wow! This was a very cute show for little kids. It was based on four different Eric Carle books. Each one was told one at a time. The stories are very loved by kids so I am sure it was probably fun for the kids to watch the books come to life.  It was fun to watch the little kids reacting to the show. When I was little, I really enjoyed the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I probably would have loved to see it performed on stage then too. The show was very well done. The puppets were really cool. I never saw puppets like that before. They were larger than any other puppets I had seen before and they were made differently. They were interesting looking and unique. Over all, this show is a really great one for little kids.

And that's my view. Tune in for Funtivity Friday.
