I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Movie: Mean Girls and Because of Winn-Dixie

Me- Today I am recommending Mean Girls (2004). It is the story of Cady Heron. She grew up in Africa. Her family moves to America when she is a teenager, and she starts going to public high school. The movie is very stereotypical, but it is very funny. Lindsay Lohan was really good in it. It was one of her last movies before she went all nuts. It is also one of the first if not the first movie for Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried. They both went on, of course, to have big careers and to do a bunch of other movies and continue to do other movies like The Notebook and The Vow for Rachel McAdams and Mamma Mia and Letters to Juliet for Amanda Seyfriend. All in all, it's just a really great movie.
Mom - Today I am recommending Because of Winn Dixie (2005). Because of Winn Dixie is a sweet movie based on the classic book by Kate DiCamillo. It is the story of a lonely little girl named Opal and how a stray dog she finds one summer changes not only her life but the life of those of the people around her as well for the better. If you like animals, you will like this movie, aside from the dog, there are rabbits, birds and a pig among other animals in this movie. If you like movies with talented casts, you will like this movie aside from Jeff Daniels, Cecily Tyson and Eva Marie Saint among others, the movie stars a young Anna Sophia Robb making her fim debut. Ms. Robb has since gone on to appear in numerous movie and TV roles including in Charlie and the Chocolate  Factory and Bridge to Terabitha and more recently she played the lead role of Carrie Bradshaw in the Carrie Diaries in the 2013-2014 TV series. Most of all if you're a sucker for a movie with a really heartwarming story you will love this movie.

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for WhereTo-Go Wednesday.
