I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

FDNY Fire Zone and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (The Off-Broadway Show)

Me - FDNY Fire Zone was fun. It was a very small place. There was a fire truck that you could go in. On top of the truck was a stuffed fire dog. I decided his name was Spot. They had fireman outfits that you could try on. There was place where you could get a demonstration of what it is like to be in a fire. There were burnt up chairs and things that had something happen to them in a fire. The part of the chair that you sit on was completely burnt up. It made me realize how scary it would be to be in a fire and how much damage a fire can do. We were there really early, and they hadn't started the demonstrations yet so we just walked around it. There was a very big gift shop. It took up most of the place. They had little fire firefighter bears, books, shirts, trucks and little firefighter outfits for kids to play dress up. They probably had other things too, but I don't remember, All in all, if you want to learn about firemen and what to do in case of fire, then you should definitely go to FDNY Fire Zone.*

We were given free tickets to The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.
Me - The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe was a two person show. They were telling the story that happened to them and their siblings. They played all the characters. It was a good show. The story was about people who could go to a magical land called Narnia through their wardrobe. Also, in case you are wondering where the title comes from in Narnia there is a witch and a lion. The witch is bad, and the lion is good.  The show is based on a book. I never read the book. However, the show made me want to read the book. It was a good story. It was exciting. It kept you wanting to know what happened. It was like a book you can't put down, you couldn't stop watching because you wanted to know what would happen next. The actors were really good. They did a really good job because there were just two of them playing all the different parts. They made each different part they played different. They kept the audience really involved in the show. It didn't matter that there weren't a lot of sets, costumes or props because the show was so good. This is a good show for everyone except very little babies or very little kids under 2. Over all, it's a great show, and you should go see it.* For a chance to win tickets to this show, see tomorrow's post.

Tune in tomorrow for Funtivity Friday.
