I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a Hotel Transylvania Prize Pack and Get a Sneak Peek at The Movie!

This is a sponsored post. Says Me Says Mom has received a prize pack and/or other compensation for this post. All opinions expressed here are our own.

If your family is like ours, I bet you are looking forward to the opening of the new movie, Hotel Transylvania 2. So many times sequels are made when there doesn't seem to be any reason for them. The second movie just seems like a rehash of the first. However, Hotel Transylvania 2 actually has a a plot that  looks interesting and doesn't just look like a rehash of the first movie. It involves the son of Dracula's daughter, Mavis and her mortal husband, Johnny. For more about the plot see below:

Drac’s pack is back for an all-new monster comedy adventure in Sony Pictures Animation's Hotel Transylvania 2! Everything seems to be changing for the better at Hotel Transylvania... Dracula’s rigid monster-only hotel policy has finally relaxed, opening up its doors to human guests. But behind closed coffins, Drac is worried that his adorable half-human, half-vampire grandson, Dennis, isn’t showing signs of being a vampire. So while Mavis is busy visiting her human in-laws with Johnny – and in for a major cultural shock of her own – “Vampa” Drac enlists his friends Frank, Murray, Wayne and Griffin to put Dennis through a “monster-in-training” boot camp. But little do they know that Drac’s grumpy and very old, old, old school dad Vlad is about to pay a family visit to the hotel. And when Vlad finds out that his great-grandson is not a pure blood – and humans are now welcome at Hotel Transylvania – things are going to get batty!

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 has been rated PG by the MPAA for the following reasons: SOME SCARY IMAGES, ACTION AND RUDE HUMOR.

The film stars Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, and David Spade. It was directed by Genndy Tartakovsky
