Kinky Boots

We were give tickets to Kinky Boots for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

Me - Kinky Boots, wow! I loved this show so much. It was incredible.The acting was really great.  I loved every song. I can't even choose a favorite.  The story was good and definitely very unique. My favorite character was the character of Lauren. However, I liked all the characters except Nicola. I don't even like the name Nicola. I can't get over how high the boots in this show actually were. I would never actually wear boots like that. First of all, I would be too self-concious and embarassed. Second of all, I would be afraid of falling and breaking my neck. I would definitely definitely recommend seeing this show.

1- The Fashion - You've never seen boots quite like this

2- The acting - Every single performer is perfectly cast in his or her part and does a great job in the role.

3-  Billy Porter - The original star recently returned to his Tony award winning role, and he will only be in the show through November 20 when Wayne Brady will be stepping into the role.

4-  Cyndi Lauper's great score - From rousing anthems like Everybody Say Yeah and Just Be to heartfelt ballads like Not My Father's Son to comical numbers like The History of Wrong Guys, she covers it all.

5 - The show's message - Kinky Boots is all about being yourself and standing up for what you believe in.

And that's our view. If you could see any Broadway show right now which one would you choose?
