I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tips for Tuesday - Misc.: Pitch Perfect Soundtrack and Hot Air

Me - Today I am recommending  the soundtrack to Pitch Perfect. Pitch Perfect is a great movie, and the music is amazing. The singers are incredibly talented especially considering it is all Acapella. There is not one bad song on the whole album. I would not, however recommend the Pitch Perfect 2 soundtrack. While the singing was mostly still really great, the song choices were not as good, and I am not a fan of Hailee Steinfeld.
Mom - Today I am recommending Hot Air by Recess Monkeys. This is a fun album for kids with songs about such things as Paper Airplanes,  Thunder and Lightening, and Hand Me Downs. Other songs like Lighter Than Air with its happy upbeat tune and Penguinese which talks about Penguins in a human way are especially fun. Recess Monkey's albums can be purchased from Amazon among other places. For more information about Recess Monkey including their current touring schedule see this post: Sunday Scoop week of 7/12/15- What's Happening This Week or Coming Up Soon
And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for Where-To-Go Wednesday.

  1. I sort of like Hailee Steinfeld. She was great on 'True Grit' anyway; still this film wasn't as great as the first one.

    1. I never saw True Grit. However, unlike my daughter, I do not have anything against Hailee Steinfeld. Thank you for visiting Says Me Says Mom and for your comment.
