I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Tea Collection's New Fall and Winter Collection

Tea Collection is so excited to introduce their new Fall and Winter 2015 collection inspired by Argentina & Bolivia! From the sophisticated style of the gauchos and traditional elegance of Cholitas to the passion of tango musicians and the wild color of las mascaras for Carnaval, Tea's newest collection pays homage to the people and rich culture of Argentina and Bolivia.

Tea explored the vast terrain from the high Andes Mountains to the fertile Pampas region of Argentina. They explored the markets of La Paz, museums, and ancient churches and climbed the blue glaciers of Patagonia. They collected Bolivian blankets, postcards, folk embroidered belts and ponchos. They amassed so many memories, pictures, and mementos that embody the wanderlust spirit of their travels. And they can't wait to share them with you!

The complete rules and regulations for the new digital lottery policy are as follows:

-          A limited number of tickets for each performance will be sold via lottery.
-          Entries will be accepted online (lottery.kinkybootsthemusical.com) beginning at the curtain time of the previous performance up to 3.5 hours prior to curtain of the desired performance.
-       Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner – entries will be checked for duplicates.
-       Three hours prior to the performance time, names will be chosen at random for a limited number of tickets priced at $37.00 each, and entrants will be notified via email.
-         Winners may pick up and pay for their tickets any time between the drawing and 30 minutes prior to the curtain time.
-          Tickets are subject to availability.
-          Tickets may be partial view.

The summer performance schedule for Kinky Boots is as follows: Monday at 8pm, Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 2pm and 8pm, Thursday at 8pm, Friday at8pm, and Saturday at 2pm and 8pm. (see KinkyBootsTheMusical.com for variations). There is a general ticket lottery each day; lottery entries will be accepted outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre box office (302 West 45th Street) beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance, and names will be drawn at random, for a limited number of $37 tickets, two hours before curtain time. See KinkyBootsTheMusical.com for details and restrictions.

Kinky Boots tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family’s struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible… and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.  The winner of six 2013 Tony® Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a Tony® Award-winning score Lauper, a book by Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.
