I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Chelsea Piers

What: Chelsea Piers

Where: 23rd Street and Hudson River Park
           New York, New York

Who: Everyone

Our view: If you are looking for sports in New York City, this is the place to go. You can find just about every sport you can think of here including baseball, basketball, figure skating, soccer, rock climbing, gymnastics, and even sand volleyball. There are also things like dance, pilates and yoga. There are sports leagues for adults. There are classes and sports leagues for kids. Classes start as young as 6 months old. However, you don't have to be taking a class or be in a league to participate in an activity here. There are drop-in activities for kids including soccer, basketball, and rock climbing. There are even some drop-in activities for adults such as gymnastics and rock climbing. Private lessons and birthday parties are also available.  The only bad thing about Chelsea Piers is that it is so big, it can be a bit overwhelming especially if you are unfamiliar with it. However, there is nowhere else you can find so many sports in one place except for the Olympics. For more information go to chelseapiers.com,

And that's our view. Tune in tomorrow for another Talking Topic.
