I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Funny Friday - Talking to the Animals

Me -

Aurella always used to say that she understood what our cat said and she told us that that our cat always said "left foot, left foot."


Mom -

When my stepson, Jack was little we were taking the cat to the vet. "Shouldn't we tell her where we are going?" he asked.

"No." I said. "She wouldn't understand and she wouldn't be happy if she could. She hates the vet."

"We're going to Grandma's!" Jack said to the cat.

"That's not where we're going." I said.

"Shh!" said Jack.
