I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a Copy of Text Messages to My Son in the Mom Rocks Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Mom Rocks Giveaway Hop

Sometimes, it's hard to know how to communicate with your kids. Some of us didn't just grow up in a different generation but in a whole different world. You have to find a way to bridge the generation gap in a way they can relate to.

One mother found a way to do that through texts. Tammy J. Cohen began to send her son meaningful texts every day. These texts were more than just your average checking-in texts. They shared knowledge, gave advice, even shared how much she loved him, and more.

If you want to learn more about how she used text to communicate with her son and how you can do the same, read her book, Text Messages to My Son. For more about this book, see our previous post, Tips for Tuesday - Books: Text Messages to My Son, Enter to win a copy below:
