I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - The Mossman Lock Collection

What: The Mossman Lock Collection

Where: General Society of Tradesmen of the City of New York
Institute of Classical Architechture & Art
             20 W. 44th St.

Who:  Teens and Up

Me & Mom - The Mossman Lock Collection is located at the General Society of Tradesmen of the City of New York. It consists of a large variety of different locks. We had no idea there were so many different types of locks. Every lock in the collection is numbered, and there is a book on-site that you can look at if you want more information on any of them. They also have a collection of keys. Although that collection is not as extensive as the lock collection, they do have keys dating as far back as ancient times. Additionally, they have a tool collection. If you are very interested in locks and tools, you could spend a lot of time here. Otherwise, it is a nice place to go for a quick visit. Although visiting the collection is free, you must arrange your visit in advance by contacting
