I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Where-To-Go Wednesday - Unplugged Brooklyn Graffiti Tour

We were given a complimentary Unplugged Brooklyn Graffiti Tour for review purposes. Any and all opinions expressed here are our own.

What: Brooklyn Unplugged Graffiti Tour

Where: Starts and ends at 30 Wykoff Avenue
             Brooklyn, NY

Who: All ages

Graffiti is not just about vandals spray-painting buildings in the middle of the night. Graffiti is actually a legitimate art form with artists whose works are commissioned just like any other art form. The latter type of graffiti is what is covered in Unplugged Brooklyn's Graffiti Tour.

The tour is quite extensive. You will not only have the opportunity to view a dazzling array of beautiful works of art. You will be able to learn more about the form and some of the artists who participate in it.  In fact, the tour guides are also graffiti artists not only making them the perfect people to guide these tours but also giving the tour a real insider's view. They will not only teach you about some of the artists in the field and what they are best known for, but some of the different techniques used in creating these incredible works of art. You can definitely learn everything you ever wanted to know about the art form of graffiti by taking this extremely interesting and thorough tour.

And that's our view. For more information, to find out about other tours offered by Brooklyn Unplugged, or to sign up for a tour, go to www.brooklynunpluggedtours.com.

Tune in tomorrow for Theater Thursday.
