Sometimes you have to chase a few rainbows to make a better world. There are plenty of scientists working diligently around the world every day to try to do just that. These days more and more of them are female. The Future of Science is Female by Zara Stone is a book that highlights some of these female scientists and the work they're doing. Debbie Stirling who invented GoldieBlox, a STEM toy that appeals to girls and Pree Walia who invented the Nailbot, a device that lets you download designs for your fingernails from the internet are just a couple of the fabulous female scientists mentioned in the book.
