I started this blog with one daughter, kept it up with the other, to spend time together doing something we enjoyed.
However, things change and people evolve. My daughters are older, busier, and not as interested in writing.
From now on this blog will be mostly mom with occasional contributions from my daughters and maybe even my husband.
Nothing else will change. We'll still focus on sharing fun places to go, fun things to do, and more, and we would  still love to hear your views too

Giveaway: Win a copy of The Book of Awesome Women in the Let's Get Lucky Giveaway Hop!

Welcome to the Let's Get Lucky Giveaway Hop
hosted by The Kids Did It and The Mommy Island.

It's Women's History Month, and we are so lucky to have had so many great women in this world breaking down barriers and inspiring us. Now, many of their stories have been captured in a wonderful book by Becca Anderson,  The Book of Awesome Women. The book includes women that most of us have heard of like Harriet Tubman and Susan B. Anthony. There are also women like Belva Lockwood, the first woman to plead a case before the Supreme Court, and artist, Judy Chicago whose stories are told in this book as well. Each of the women discussed in the book is as awe-inspiring as the next. Women like these show that anyone can make a positive difference in the world and that women and their stories are just as important as men and theirs. For more information, see our previous post Tips for Tuesday: The Book of Awesome Women. Enter to win a copy of this engaging book yourself below:
